Perthshire show home collects multiple accolades at prestigious property event 

A stunning five-bedroom show home in Meigle, Perthshire has been named best in the country at the Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2026. The Azalea, which is part of family housebuilder Campion Homes’ development, Strathmore Meadows, was also named as Large Family Home of the Year at the same awards. 

Two Azalea house styles are currently on sale at the development, starting at £469,995, including an integrated double garage and open plan kitchen and dining area. 

The award tops off a bumper year for Campion Homes who was also named Homebuilder of the Year (Medium) at the 2026 Homes for Scotland Awards, as well as holding their 5-star customer satisfaction rating with the Home Builders Federation.

The luxury show home’s interior was designed by Signature Interiors and took inspiration from the local Pictish stones which Meigle is famed for. When the show home launched last year, Caitlin Rodden of Signature Interiors, said: “This is the first time we have used Pictish stones and sculptures as design inspiration but from the moment we first learned about Meigle’s historic links to this period of Scottish history we knew we had to honour it in our design.  

“These mystical stones, with their beautiful natural terracotta and neutral earthy tones, are mirrored throughout the Azalea’s interior palette and offer a warm, cosy and inviting atmosphere.” 

Set within Meigle, and within easy commuting distance of Perth and Dundee, Strathmore Meadows features a mix of 75 three to six bedroom homes with prices starting from £214,995.  

The Azalea show home and the sales and marketing suite at Strathmore Meadows, Meigle, is open Thursday to Monday, 10.30am-4.30pm.
