Homelands Trust, Lundin Links
A project on behalf of The Homelands Trust - Fife, Campion Homes constructed 9 accessible holiday lodges.
This was the site of a now demolished large house with extensive garden ground which was gifted to the Trust by the late owner. The client is a charity affiliated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the project provided four high standard holiday homes for MS sufferers and their families together with a central support facility for the homes and MS sufferers in the wider community.
The site was heavily wooded and care had to be taken to protect the trees and their root structure during the works.
The central support facility incorporated office facilities, meeting rooms and treatment rooms served with both lift and stair access. All gas and electric metering was central in the support facility with sub mains then supplying the cottages. The cottages are fully self contained and completed to a full wheelchair standard for access and facilities.
Boasting panoramic views across Lundin golf course and the river Forth, built to the highest standard, each lodge is purpose built and equipped with disability support equipment.
