This project will provide 30 new low carbon homes for social rent built to Passivhaus standards. 

Passivhaus is an innovative way to design homes and focuses on the use of sunshine, shade and ventilation to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature without having to use as much energy as a more traditionally designed home. 

Designing to such a high standard will not only provide an environmental benefit but will also address fuel poverty by reducing energy costs for tenants. 

The 30 new low carbon homes will be highly efficient and will achieve an energy rating of A (92-100).
