The transformation of a derelict town centre site has seen the creation of 60 brand new dementia friendly designed homes ready to be handed over today.

Primrose Place, within the town centre of Alloa, is part of an extensive regeneration initiative and provides a housing solution to the local ageing community offering quality assisted living opportunities.

These new energy efficient homes bring high quality town centre living for people of all ages, making local services and amenities easily accessible.

The positive impact the development has had on the town centre was recognised at the Scotland Loves Local Awards, winning the “Town Centre Living” category. A great achievement.

The development is a partnership project between Kingdom Housing Association, Clackmannanshire Council and The Scottish Government in collaboration with Architecture and Design Scotland (A&DS), Bracewell Stirling Consulting and University of Stirling.
