The coronavirus outbreak has resulted in a challenging situation for everyone, and this is true for anyone in the process of searching for a new home.

If you have reserved a home with Campion Homes and have questions about your move, read this blog which features the latest guidance for our customers. Our dedicated Sales Advisors will also be keeping in constant contact with you to assist you through this difficult time.

The current lockdown and social distancing guidance does mean that those who were in the middle of their search for a new home will no longer be able to attend viewings in person.

However, that shouldn’t stop you from researching the market and getting ready for a future move, once things return to normal.

If you are considering a future move with Campion Homes, read this blog for guidance.

Can I still attend house viewings during the coronavirus lockdown?

No, under the current lockdown and social distancing guidance, you will need to postpone house viewings if they were scheduled to take place during this time.

To protect the wellbeing of our staff, as well as to comply with government legislation, all Campion Homes show homes are currently closed.

However, our virtual tours of each show home allow you to have a virtual viewing from the safety of your own home. Take your time as you inspect the space. Our virtual tours feature multiple viewpoints in each room to help you understand the space and layout of each home.

Take a look at our virtual tours below.

Bryony Meadow

A prestigious development of 32 attractive bungalows just 7 miles from St Andrews. These three to five-bedroom homes are beautifully presented and located in Dairsie, a former weaving village close to Fife’s eastern coastline. But hurry, only one property remains!

Law View

Law View is a spacious development in a seaside town on the east coast of Fife. Buyers have a selection of stylish three to six-bedroom homes to choose from and are supported in their move with our Part Exchange and Assisted Move offers. Each home can be customised to create ideal living spaces at our Choices Suite.

What should I consider when planning my future move?

This time is a good opportunity to carefully research potential homes and plan your future move.

As you are spending most of your time indoors, it is an ideal time to think critically about your home. Make a list of the things you love about your current space, as well as the features that you wish it had. Think about how much space you need for living and for storage. Think about which rooms you spend most time in and take some time to identify your priorities. This will help you to narrow down your search once life returns to normal.

We would also recommend researching new home developers in the area you are looking to move to. Find out everything you will need to know about their application process and speak to their team to get an idea about the support they can provide you when you are ready to move home.

The team at Campion Homes continues to be here for you during this time. Our staff are working remotely to offer support and guidance. Although now might not be the right time to reserve your property, we are happy to provide you with the information you will need to make your move in future.
